This young singer started out in the pop / folk / rock universe, notably writing and performing with the group Khâ, but, keen to explore different genres, she came to jazz by taking part in jam sessions, at one of which she met Daniel Yvinec. It was the beginning of a close collaboration between the two artists, leading to a 2006 demo, several titles of which were broadcast on FRENCH RADIOS and selected for Radio Nova's acclaimed 2007 compilation When Jazz Meets Pop. That same year, she took part in the premiere of Yvinec's Old Wine New Bottle at the Jazz Sous Les Pommiers festival in Coutances, Normandy, and also performed in Paris in several concerts Yvinec presented as part of his Lost Crooners project. Karen is currently working on her own debut album, on which we'll be able to discover her unique sensitive personality, and her enchanting voice in many exquisite settings.
