Pianist and composer Denis Badault was a musician in the first ONJ led by François Jeanneau in 1986, and five years later became the orchestra’s fourth musical director.

Prolific and invested in the illustration of the jazz in large orchestra, this taleted musician, eager embrace music as a whole, carried by a hedonistic and festive spirit, established a fine machine with a swing full investiveness.
Volume 4 in the collection contains all three albums which are ponctuated his mandate : A Plus Tard, Monk Mingus Ellington and Bouquet Final.
