Eric Bijon
Accordion
Eric takes his first musical steps playing flugelhorn in a small musical society in the region of Burgundy, and then studied at its Regional National Conservatory (CNR) in Dijon. At the conservatory of Paris’ 12th arrondissement (district), he studies the accordion, composition and analysis. From then on, he divided his time between the accordion and composition. He developed a lasting relationship with singer Mano Solo with whom he has composed five albums between 1993 and 2001. Other collaborations include those with Franck Tortiller on his first album Vitis Vinifera (1997); and Alain Bashung on the album L’Imprudence (2002). In 2003, he started the surprising and unique duo Soffio with flutist Patrick Rudant.
