Pioneering electronician Claude Gomez constructs his own musical universe from references and micro-events, sculpting sound material by using click'n'cut to reveal a bold and original musical discourse. As an improviser, his artistic collaborations (with, amongst others, Nguyên Lê, Denis Badault, Avril, Desoxident, Sefsaf, Lionel Daméi and Aminata Fall) have created strong multi-directional affiliations with the worlds of new and improvised music. He composes for dance, theatre and poetry readings, is in charge of numerous masterclasses and teaches regularly at the APEJS (Chambéry) and the Université de Savoie. His brilliant conceptions in sampling and electronics mark a distinctive electronic, organic and poetic signature.
