Eric Séva
Saxophones

Born into a musical family, he began studying the saxophone in 1976 with his father, playing in local bals musette. After classical studies at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, a meeting with David Liebman in New York proved to be a turning point in his career and artistic approach. As an active and highly acclaimed musician on the French scene, as accompanist (Didier Lockwood, Olivier Ker Ourio, Jean-Marie Ecay, Antoine Hervé, Chris Rea...), composer (Yes Yes Yes, In Folio...) and teacher, Éric is also Artistic Director of the Jazz et Terroir Festival in Seine-et-Marne, and is currently working with his own quartet, having just recorded the album Folklores Imaginaires.
