In automn 1989, barely three years after its inception, the ONJ underwent a significant change and took on a brand-new skin under guitarist and composer Claude Barthélemy.

At the head of the orchestra, Barthélemy, a brillant, iconoclastic musician, would build the definitve foundations of his rigorous and baroque aesthetic in inventing a universe open to all forms of hybridization, that we find through the two albums wich marked his adventures with the ONJ : Claire and Jack-Line.
